PNGC is saddened with the news of the passing of Professor John Q. Trojanowski. The scientific community lost a visionary leader, and we at PNGC all mourn the loss of a dear friend, a generous colleague, and a caring mentor. PNGC is part of the enormous legacy that Dr. Trojanowski had left to Penn, as the founding directors Dr. Schellenberg and Dr. Wang were recruited by him years ago to build genomics and bioinformatics of neurodegeneration research programs at our campus.
We express our sincerest condolences to his life and work partner Dr. Virginia Lee, their family members, colleagues and friends.
